This article had been written by one of our muslim brothers out there.. and I think he wrote it for a purpose.. and it is to share with all of our muslim brothers and sisters out there.. Salaam dear friends. To those who happened to stumble upon my humble blogpage, welcome! Two years ago, my mentor, told me about a story of a pencil, and he relates the story to human life and its existence. After which, i share this story with someone and it opens up our mind towards understanding further of our existance in this world and life itself. And so, i would also like to share this with all of you, my very very dear friends. Well the title of the story is "The Parable of the Pencil", i do hope you would spent some time and really understand deeply the true meanings behind all the things that you gonna learn from this story. Allah had created so many things in this world and it's for those who think. One fine example is the pencil....... Take your time to read this alright.......
The Pencil Maker took the pencil aside, just before putting him into the box. There are 5 things you need to know, he told the pencil, before I send you out into the world.
Always remember them and never forget, and you will become the best pencil you can be.

ONE: You will be able to do many great things, but only if you allow yourself to be held in Someone's hand.
TWO: You will experience a painful sharpening from time to time, but you'll need it to become a better pencil.
THREE: You will be able to correct any mistakes you might make.
FOUR: The most important part of you will always be what's inside.
FIVE: On every surface you are used on, you must leave your mark.
No matter what the condition, you must continue to write. The pencil understood and promised to remember, and went into the box with purpose in its heart.
Now replacing the place of the pencil with you; always remember them and never forget, and you will become the best person you can be.

All of us live in this world for a short period of time and everything such as our date of birth, death, companion, job, wealth, everything had already been written by Allah s.w.t. Therefore living in this world you must always strive for the best and always remember Allah and to only Him you place your trust. Help from Allah may come in different ways, can be from what you see, what you feel, think, through experiences, through people around us, the environment……… only if we give some time to ponder and think. Believe………….

As I’ve mentioned, everything that had happened during our past, may it be good or bad, it’s meant to be, or even a guide from Allah, to make us into a better and stronger person in near future. Those bad things that had happened during the past, we must take it as something that may help us in future, its experiences are to be forgotten but not the lessons you've learnt from it. Please bear that in mind........
THREE: You will be able to correct any mistakes you might make.
Absolutely! Everyone do mistakes before..... Not just you....... And Allah knows all this, for He is the most Forgiving and Merciful. It’s better if someone who did a mistake and later realise it after which he/she correct it and repent. Rather then someone who never realise what are the mistakes he/she had done and never had the chance to do anything about it. You do have time don't you... Then do something about it. Take action...... be strong. Make sure it doesn't happen again. Take control of your own life.
FOUR: The most important part of you will always be what's on the inside.
You know this best, "Semua perkara yang dilakukan biarlah berdasarkan kepada niat kita." Niat kita itu penting. Believe in yourself and others will too.
FIVE: On every surface you walk through, you must leave your mark.
We want people to remember us for the good things, not the bad things. Be thankful of all the ni'mat given to us by Allah. Life's too short for someone to brood over small little things that had happened....... go on...... live life to the fullest...... If there’s any disagreements, arguments, quarrels among us…… resolve it fast……
"For all of us never know when Allah decides to call us home………"
No matter what the situation, you must continue to do your duties. By understanding and remembering, let us proceed with our life on this earth having a meaningful purpose in our heart.
